Abstract:
This invention provides an apparatus for manufacturing a bag having a three-dimensional
design, comprising a bag-making packaging machine (20). The bag-making packaging
machine (20) comprises a cylindrical former (23) having a former face along which
a packaging film (11) is provided, a pull-down mechanism (24), a longitudinal
seal mechanism (21), a transverse seal mechanism (22), and a molding apparatus
(25) for molding a three-dimensional design. The cylindrical former (23) has
a molding face (30) for molding a three-dimensional design at any position of
the former face. The molding apparatus (25) is provided at a position facing the
former molding face (30). Specific examples of the molding apparatus (25) include
heaters, light irradiation devices, molds, and pressing machines. In the case
of the heater or the light irradiation device, a foamable ink is incorporated
in the print layer in the packaging film (11), and the ink is foamed. In the case
of the mold, a reinforcing sheet or a sheet for a three-dimensional design is further
laminated onto the packaging film (11), and the laminate is pressed. In the case
of the pressing machine, a three-dimensional sheet having a three-dimensional
design is previously laminated onto the packaging film (11).
