Abstract:
The present invention provides an apparatus for manufacturing a dual-type external electrode fluorescent lamp, comprising: a reduced-diameter glass tube transfer unit for receiving and sequentially transferring reduced-diameter glass tubes; an expanded-diameter glass tube transfer unit for receiving and sequentially transferring expanded-diameter glass tubes; a heating unit, provided along the upper part or the lower part of the space between facing surfaces of the reduced-diameter glass tube and the expanded-diameter glass tube, for heating a bonding area between the reduced-diameter glass tube and the expanded-diameter glass tube, which pass through a corresponding part; and a bonding unit, located at the post-process of the heating unit, for bonding the bonding area between the reduced-diameter glass tube and the expanded-diameter glass tube, which have been transferred to a corresponding location, and thus the present invention enables automatic bonding to proceed between glass tubes having different outer diameters.
