Abstract:
The invention relates to an apparatus for mass polymerization of vinyl chloride resin and a method for mass polymerization of vinyl chloride resin which is capable of preventing production of abnormal products (fineparticle products, oversized particle products, lump products by aggregation, etc.) and vinyl chloride resin having poor sphere formation, and which is capable of improving the quality and processability of vinyl chloride resin by solving the problem of microparticles being generated by interparticular excess aggregation or interparticular friction, since interparticular average distances of resin shorten as the polymerization progresses, wherein the method comprises an additional monomer feeding step for additionally feeding a monomer into a reaction bath comprising the monomer and an initiator, in which the monomer is additionally fed into the reaction bath when the conversion rate from the monomer to a polymer is 30 to 70%.
