Abstract:
What is disclosed is an electromagnetic flowmeter for measuring a flow of liquid in a liquid-carrying line (107) having a magnet (104) for producing a magnetic field (111, 112, 113, 114) in the liquid-carrying line (107) and an electrode pair (103) for discharging an electrical voltage when the liquid flows through the liquid-carrying line (107). The flowmeter according to the disclosure allows the flow of liquid to be determined on the basis of the measured voltage. The magnet (104) can rotate about an axis in order to produce an alternating magnetic field.
