Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for measuring precipitation. The apparatus for measuring precipitation includes: a water accommodation unit (10) including a water collection part (11), which is disposed in the lower portion of a cylindrical body (13) and has a hopper shape, and a water drain part (12); a light detection unit (20) disposed in the inner wall of the cylindrical body (13) to detect the water level within the water accommodation unit (10); heating units (25) disposed in the bottom surface of the water collection part (11) and in the wall of the drain tube (12), and receiving a water level signal from the light detection unit (20) to function; a rotating water supply unit (40) coupled to a connection tube (30) vertically connected to the drain tube (12) of the water accommodation unit (10); and a flow measurement unit (60) disposed in a discharge tube (50) coupled to the connection tube (30) disposed downstream of the rotating water supply unit (40) to measure the amount of water.
