Abstract:
Disclosed is an apparatus and method for assisting easy payment for a mobile terminal. The apparatus and method for assisting easy payment for a mobile terminal according to the present invention employs an authentication technique in which, when easy payment is performed after a phone number of the mobile terminal is previously registered for user authentication, a phone number of the mobile terminal is automatically acquired through a communication provider server on the basis of information on current access of the mobile terminal to a mobile communication base station, and then user authentication is completed when, as a result of comparison between the acquired phone number and the previously registered phone number, it is determined that the two phone numbers coincide with each other. Thus, the present invention can avoid a user from individually inputting a phone number in an input window or inputting an authentication number in order to perform authentication, thereby improving the convenience of the user.
