Abstract:

The present invention relates to a medical device and particularly to a method and an apparatus for automatically registering anatomical points (i.e., landmarks) in medical images. The present invention relates to a method for automatically registering landmarks in three-dimensional medical images, and provides execution of operations, such as acquisition of a three-dimensional medical image, determination of a set of search points, extraction of features of the points, formation of a set of candidates on required landmarks, filtering the candidates, and output of final positions of the required landmarks.
