Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for channel sparsification using beamforming in a wireless communication system, the method comprises the steps of: inserting pilot symbols into allocated resources among resource elements constituting a time-frequency grid; calculating beamforming weights for sparsifying a beamformed time-domain channel; and beamforming frequency-domain channels for a plurality of antennas to which the pilot symbols are mapped, using the beamforming weights.
