Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electrode active material slurry coating apparatus which is capable of coating an active material slurry on an electrode current collector, the apparatus comprising: a transfer unit for continuously transferring an electrode current collector in a predetermined process direction; and a coating die which is capable of reciprocating in the process direction or in the opposite direction of the process direction and coating the active material slurry in a predetermined coating area of the electrode current collector being transferred by the transfer unit, wherein the coating die is held at a predetermined coating start position and coats a balcony area with an active material slurry while moving from the coating start position to the main coating position spaced at a predetermined distance in the opposite direction when the balcony area corresponding to the tip of the coating area reaches the coating start position.
