Abstract:
The present invention is configured to determine a gain error parameter (gerr) and a phase error parameter (θerr) of a direct conversion transmitter and utilize the gain error parameter (gerr) and the phase error parameter (θerr) to compensate for an I/Q imbalance of the direct conversion transmitter by means of a method of measuring a reference RSB, which is an RSB of a signal output from the direct conversion transmitter, for an in-phase signal (ID) and a quadrature signal (QD) of a digital baseband input into the direct conversion transmitter, and measuring an additional RSB, which is an RSB of a signal output from the direct conversion transmitter according to a gain mismatch parameter (ga) or a phase mismatch parameter (θa) input into the digital baseband by the control unit. Accordingly, the present invention has the advantage that simple and accurate compensation is possible.
