Abstract:
Disclosed is a control apparatus for a disk array comprising striping blocks, according to one embodiment of the present invention. The control apparatus can comprise: a command detecting means for receiving a command or a request for a command for a disk array and detecting the kind of the received command or request; a state detecting means for detecting the state of the disk array; and a command issuing means for issuing a wakeup signal to the disk array according to the state of the disk array and the kind of the received command or request.
