Abstract:
An apparatus and method for controlling the vertical movement of aluminum electrolytic cell anode guide bars (4), relating to the technical field of aluminum electrolysis. The apparatus for controlling the vertical movement of aluminum electrolytic cell anode guide bars (4) comprises a holding frame/anode busbar frame (3) and anode guide bars (4); a compression mechanism (6) in contact with a compressed object and arranged on the holding frame/anode busbar frame (3) or the anode guide bars (4); an upper metallic structure (19) connected by means of a transmission mechanism (5) with the anode guide bars (4). The present invention achieves the goal of efficiently moving anodes and/or anode guide bars (4), eliminates traditional rod pulling operations, implements a high level of automation, and, when an electrolytic cell employs composite anodes with built-in conductors, facilitates removing oxygen.
