Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for controlling wireless power transmission using Near Field Communication (NFC). A method for controlling a wireless power transmitter according to one embodiment of the present invention may comprise the steps of: transmitting a first Near Field Communication (NFC) signal having a driving power of a communication unit included in a wireless power receiver; recognizing the wireless power receiver through a response signal to the first Near Field Communication signal; transmitting a second Near Field Communication signal for establishing a Near Field Communication (NFC) channel as a communication channel for a wireless power transmission to the communication unit; and transmitting and receiving a state information signal related to a wireless power transmission and reception through the established Near Field Communication channel.
