Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for designing a light guide plate pattern, the apparatus comprising: a camera unit for photographing a liquid crystal display device module mounted in a curved surface display device; a mura location detection unit for detecting the location of a mura on the basis of information of the image, captured by the camera unit, and luminance information; a mura form detection unit for detecting mura form on the basis of information of the image, captured by the camera unit, and luminance information; a dot pattern density adjustment unit for adjusting the density of a dot pattern in a light guide plate in a form for removing the mura, by corresponding to the form of a mura, which occurs in the liquid crystal display device module; and an entire dot pattern generation unit for generating the entire dot pattern of the light guide plate, to which the adjusted density of the dot pattern is applied, when the density of the dot pattern is adjusted in a predetermined form at a location at which the mura having occurred in the liquid crystal display device module can be removed, during the manufacture of the curved surface display device.
