Abstract:
In an apparatus and a method for diagnosing an abnormality of a battery cell according to an embodiment of the present invention, the method may comprise the steps of: obtaining measurement data for at least one parameter of a battery cell; extracting a signal of a specific frequency band from the measurement data so as to generate diagnostic data; and applying the generated diagnostic data to a predefined diagnostic algorithm so as to determine whether the battery cell is abnormal. Therefore, the present invention may reduce a noise signal and thus enable precise and highly reliable diagnosis of whether an abnormality is present in a battery cell.
