Abstract:
An electronic device according to various embodiments can comprise: a touch display; a fingerprint sensor formed on at least a partial region of the touch display; a memory; and a processor configured to acquire a first image of a user fingerprint, which is related to a first touch input, by using the fingerprint sensor on the basis of the first touch input, detected through the touch display, on the at least partial region, check whether a state of the fingerprint corresponds to a first state, on the basis of the acquired first image and a reference image of the fingerprint, which is stored in the memory, and display, through the touch display, information for guiding a second touch input for changing the state of the fingerprint from the first state to a second state, on the basis of the checking.
