Abstract:
Provided are an apparatus and a method for eliminating a defect from a corrugated cardboard sheet, and a corrugated cardboard sheet manufacturing apparatus provided with: a cutoff (25) that cuts off a continuous double-sided corrugated cardboard sheet (E) along a width direction; a sheet joint detection apparatus (51), a single-faced defect detection apparatus (52), a quality examination apparatus (53), and a defect detection switch (54) which serve as a defect detection apparatus for detecting a defect part (Pf) of the double-sided corrugated cardboard sheet (E, F); a defective discharge apparatus (26) that discharges the plate-shaped double-sided corrugated cardboard sheet (F) including the defect part (Pf) from a conveyance line; and a control apparatus (55) that operates the defective discharge apparatus (26) in accordance with the result of detection by the defect detection apparatus, and that, when a length (L) of the plate-shaped double-sided corrugated cardboard sheet (F) is longer than a discharge allowable length (Ld) of the defective discharge apparatus (26), controls the cutoff (25) to cut the double-sided corrugated cardboard sheet (F) including the defect part (Pf) to a length shorter than the discharge allowable length (Ld).
