Abstract:
Disclosed are an apparatus and method for estimating camera pose. The apparatus for estimating camera pose, according to one embodiment, comprises: a similar image retrieval unit for, on the basis of an input image, retrieving, from a plurality of pre-stored images, a plurality of similar images for the input image; a clustering unit for, on the basis of viewpoint data tagged in each of the plurality of similar images, generating a cluster comprising at least some images, among the plurality of similar images, satisfying a preset condition; and an estimation unit for, on the basis of the cluster, estimating the pose of a camera by which the input image was generated.
