Abstract:
Provided is a method for evoking association with a tone by representing tones included in a phoneme string of a tonal language by tone-specific colors assigned to respective tones, the method comprising the steps of: specifying a phoneme string; specifying tones; specifying tone-specific colors; generating a colored associated image or a colored phoneme string by adding the tone-specific colors to the phoneme string or at least a part of the foreground, background, or surroundings of an associated image; and outputting the colored associated image or phoneme string on a screen, wherein two or more of the tone-specific colors are stored in a tone-specific color storage unit, a tone-specific color association story for assisting in association between tones and colors for each tone-specific color set is stored in a tone-specific color association database, and the tone-specific colors are specified using a tone-specific color set which is determined according to a tone-specific color association story selected from the tone-specific color association database.
