Abstract:
A method and apparatus for processing a multi—touch input are provided. A touch display can sense a user's touch or release of the touch on a screen. A processor can generate information on an input using the touch display on the basis of the touch and release. When a touch is maintained for a specific time or longer, the processor can consider the touch to be unrelated to the input and cancel the touch. In addition, the processor can cancel the touch when the location of the touch moves by a predetermined distance or more.
