Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for inserting information in a solid-based multi-dimensional symbology system comprising: a device which converts bit information into a plurality of bitmap images, a device which creates a symbol database with respect to independent variables of a symbol, a device which converts the plurality of bitmap images into a plurality of symbol matrices M (i, j) on the basis of the symbol database; and a device which maps the symbol matrix M (i, j) and converts it into a symbol image. According to the present invention, it is possible to efficiently and systematically insert input data bits into a multi-dimensional symbology system on the basis of a three-dimensional solid, to have the ability to insert high capacity data, and to be able to provide a copy protection function due to the introduction of the three-dimensional solid-based symbology.
