The present invention relates to a laser welding apparatus including a housing casing (2), an emitter (3) of a laser beam (4), collimating means (5) for collimating the laser beam (4) at a welding or focal point (WP), and a microscope (6) with two eyepieces (6a) protruding from the housing casing (2) and designed to delimit two optical paths (OP) in a viewing field (WF) which can be focused so that the optical paths (OP) meet at the welding or focal point (WP), the apparatus further comprising - at least one display screen (7, 7a) located on the housing casing (2), - converter means (8) designed to convert optical signals from the welding or focal point (WP) into electric signals, - first transmission means (9) designed to transmit optical signals from the welding or focal point (WP) to the converter means (8), and - second transmission means (10a, 10b, 10c, 12) designed to transmit electric signals from the converter means (8) to the at least one display screen (7, 7a), the first transmission means (9) being arranged outside each of the optical paths (OP) of the microscope (6) thereby not interfering therewith.
