Abstract:
A power supply including three feedback loops: an inner voltage loop, an outer voltage loop, and a current sharing loop. The inner voltage loop is the primary regulation/conversion loop that generates the power supply output voltage. The outer voltage loop monitors the voltage at a second node that is remote relative to the power supply output which is compared to a reference. The output of the comparison is then filtered, limited, and then the output of the limiter is provided to a selector. The current sharing loop receives an indicator of output current for the power supply compared to a reference, which is the largest one of all paralleled supplies. The comparison is then filtered, limited, and then the output of the limiter is also provided to the selector. The selector output is used to offset the feedback parameter of the inner voltage loop.
