Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for measuring the shape of an eyeglass frame rim, and more particularly, to an apparatus and method for measuring the shape of an eyeglass frame rim, which prevent the vibration of an eyeglass frame to significantly reduce errors. The apparatus for measuring the shape of an eyeglass frame rim according to the present invention comprises: a clamp for fixing an eyeglass frame; a pair of pins which move along the groove formed at the eyeglass frame rim; rotating means for rotating the pair of pins such that the pins move along the groove; and a pin encoder which detects the shape of the eyeglass frame from the movement of the pair of pins.
