Abstract:

Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for monitoring micro inverters. The present invention collects state information from micro inverters installed in a solar module included in a photovoltaic system which generates electricity using sun light, and outputs the collected state information of the micro inverters. In a photovoltaic system using micro inverters, i.e. in a photovoltaic system having a distributed inverter structure, the present invention collects state information from micro inverters installed in a solar module and outputs the collected state information of the micro inverters to be discriminated by each micro inverter, thereby being capable of monitoring the state of each of the micro inverters at one time, and further being capable of easily detecting whether there is an error in the micro inverters.
