Abstract:
The present invention for an apparatus for processing an audio signal comprises: an audio bit stream reception unit for receiving an audio bit stream comprising a channel signal and one or more LFE channel signals; a parsing unit for parsing the LFE channel signals from the audio bit stream; a determination unit for determining the number of parsed LFE channel signals; and a pre-mixing unit for pre-mixing the LFE channel signals with the channel signal on the basis of the determined number of LFE channel signals.
