Abstract:
An apparatus for producing a fuel, comprising: a fermentation drying device 3 in which an organic waste material is accommodated in a hermetically sealed container through a charging device and is stirred while being heated in a predetermined temperature range under a reduced pressure and an organic substance in the organic waste material is fermented using a microorganism to produce a dried product having a reduced volume; a granulator 5 in which the dried product discharged from the fermentation drying device 3 is charged and the dried product is shaped into a stick-like form; and a burning furnace 7 to which the stick-like fuel discharged from the granulator 5 is supplied.
