Abstract:

An apparatus for providing spam information comprises: a spam determination unit which collects contact lists stored in multiple terminals, calculates the social relationship index between the contact number of a recipient and the contact number of a caller on the basis of the connection relationship between the contact lists, and generates spam information that is information on whether the contact number of the caller is spam with respect to the contact number of the recipient, on the basis of at least one of the social relationship index and the spam score of the contact number of the caller; and a spam information providing unit which transmits the spam information to a receiving terminal corresponding to the contact number of the recipient.
