Abstract:
The invention aims at developing an apparatus and a method which make it possible
to recover carbonaceous particles effectively by easier operation, that is,
providing an apparatus and a method by which carbonaceous particles can be effectively
and easily recovered. According to the invention, the effective collection
on a filter of carbonaceous particles contained in gaseous emission can be enabled
by spraying the carbonaceous particles with a chemical fluid to enlarge the particles.
Further, a collection filter on which carbonaceous particles collect can be
easily replaced with a new collection filter by drawing the former from a slit
formed in an exhaust pipe and inserting the latter into the slit, which enables
easy recovery of carbonaceous particles. Namely, the invention enables effective
recovery of carbonaceous particles with less labor through effective collection
of the particles and reduction in the labor required in exchanging collection
filters.
