Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for regulating intrathoracic pressure. More specifically, the apparatus and method for regulating intrathoracic pressure of the present invention measure intrathoracic pressure from a needle inserted into the thoracic cavity, enabling simple and precise measurement, real time measurement and confirmation of intrathoracic pressure, and regulation of intrathoracic pressure. Accordingly, when using the apparatus and method for regulating intrathoracic pressure of the present invention, it is possible to measure and confirm intrathoracic pressure and regulate intrathoracic pressure in real time, and the apparatus and method can be helpfully used for diagnosing current lung conditions and diagnosing, preventing, or treating pneumothorax.
