Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for smart seed production employing multi-level adaptive positioning and eye identification. The apparatus comprises: a feeding system (I), a pre-cutting system (II), a smart eye identification cutting system (III), and a mixing system (IV). The feeding system (I) is connected to the pre-cutting system (II), the pre-cutting system (II) is connected to the smart eye identification cutting system (III), and the smart eye identification cutting system (III) is connected to the mixing system (IV). The feeding system (I) sends bulk feed to be processed into the pre-cutting system (II) intermittently. The pre-cutting system (II) cuts the received feed into halves, and transports the cut feed separately into the smart eye identification cutting system (III). Cut feed pieces enter the mixing system (IV), in which the mixing system (IV) sufficiently mixes a mixing material and the feed pieces. The apparatus achieves multi-level positioning and efficient cutting of seed potatoes, and reduces usage amount of the mixing material, thereby increasing operation efficiency, realizing automated production, and improving cut quality.
