Abstract:
An apparatus for storing a thin film device, said apparatus comprising a thin film device 3 provided with an Si-containing insulating thin film having a thickness of not more than 100 nm, a solution being in contact with the thin film, and a container provided with a tank having the solution sealed therein, wherein the solution satisfies any of requirements (1) to (3): (1) a solution which contains 0-30% by volume inclusive of water; (2) a solution which has been cooled to and kept at a temperature not lower than the solidification point and lower than 15°C; and (3) a solution which contains a salt at a concentration of 1 mol/L or higher and not higher than the saturation concentration and has been cooled to and kept at a temperature not lower than the solidification point and lower than 25°C.
