Abstract:
Disclosed are an apparatus for supporting a multi-network based data transmission service and an operation method of the apparatus, wherein the continuity of service without interruption is obtained to have an effect such as a handover function when transmitting data to a terminal device through a network (for example: WiFi) that does not have a handover function in a
multi-transmission service environment in which data can be transmitted and received through a multi-network with respect to the terminal device. The apparatus of the present invention comprises components for transmitting data to a specific receiving device through a first network of two or more networks, determining whether or not the receiving device is in a specific-data bypass transmission request state with respect to the first network, and transmitting the data, which is transmitted through the first network to the receiving device, through a specific second network to the receiving device when the determined state of the receiving device corresponds to the specific-data bypass transmission request state.
