Abstract:

Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for supporting play of a multiplayer game. An apparatus for supporting play of a multiplayer game includes an interface for identifying first play information corresponding to a first terminal and second play information corresponding to a second terminal from a database in connection with the game when the second terminal, which receives a request for playing a multiplayer game from the first terminal, accepts the request; and a processor for providing a multiplayer game screen to the first terminal configured on the basis of the first and second play information, and, when the game ends, updating the first and second play information stored in the database on the basis of a result of the end of the game.
