Abstract:

Disclosed is an apparatus and method for treating a boil-off gas of a vessel. The apparatus for treating a boil-off gas of a vessel, according to an embodiment of the present invention, may comprise: a storage tank that receives a liquefied gas and a boil-off gas; a boil-off gas supply line provided with a compressing unit that compresses the boil-off gas of the storage tank; a nitrogen separator that separates the boil-off gas, compressed while passing through the compressing unit, into a first gas flow that contains a nitrogen component with a first concentration and a second gas flow that contains a nitrogen component with a second concentration; a first fuel gas supply line that supplies the first gas flow to a first consumption means; and a re-liquefaction line that receives the second gas flow and re-liquefies the same.
