Abstract:
A food processor (10) comprising a power base (30) and a vessel (20). The power base (30) includes a driving unit (31) and a control circuit for controlling the operation of the driving unit (31). The vessel (20) includes a body with a lid (21) for receiving food, and a tool (24) operable to process the food received in the body. The body is adapted to be located on the power base (30) thereby resulting in the tool (24) being coupled with the driving unit (31) for operation by the driving unit (31). The vessel (20) includes a sensor (208) for sensing closing of the lid (21) relative to the body, and a wireless communication module (210, 212) adapted to communicate with the control circuit to effect the operation of the tool (24) when the vessel (20), with the lid (21) closed as sensed by the sensor, is located on the power base (30).
