Abstract:
An apparatus for easily monitoring an operation state of an air conditioner via a humidity sensor is provided. The apparatus for monitoring an operation state of an air conditioner, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a humidity sensor for collecting humidity data; and a processor for determining the operation state of the air conditioner on the basis of the humidity data. Accordingly, an air conditioner can be monitored without replacing a plug or meter with a high-priced smart plug or smart meter, by easily and accurately monitoring an operation state of the air conditioner via a low-priced humidity sensor, thereby preventing unnecessary waste of energy and helping to improve various types of energy use via monitoring of an energy use pattern.
