Abstract:
It is intended to easily and surely place an existing/commonly employed capsule
endoscope for a digestive tract, etc. as such in a body cavity and thus employ it
in monitoring the inside of the body cavity. A capsule endoscope (300) having
a locking part (203) for fixing it to a tissue in a body cavity and a holding part
(202) for attaching and holding the capsule endoscope (300). Owing to this structure,
the capsule endoscope (300) can be combined with the locking part (203) simply
by attaching the capsule endoscope (300) to the holding part (202) followed by
holding. Next, the locking part (203) is fixed to a tissue at a desired site in a
body cavity by an endoscopic treatment and thus the capsule endoscope (300) can
be placed therein together with the locking part (202). Thus, the existing/commonly
employed capsule endoscope (300) for a digestive tract, etc. can be easily and
surely placed as such in the body cavity and thus employed in monitoring the inside
of the body cavity.
