Abstract:
An apparatus for preventing afterglow creation and destruction of an LED element according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a converter for converting alternating current power source to direct current power source; an LED element connected with the converter through a positive electrode (+) line and a negative electrode (-) line; and a capacitor which has one side connected to the positive electrode (+) line or the negative electrode (-) line and the other side connected to a ground, and charges electricity into the electric power remaining in the ground and the electric power remaining in the converter after power supply is blocked off.
