Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for preventing reverse rotation of an escalator and, more particularly, to an apparatus for preventing reverse rotation of an escalator, which can be easily installed on an existing escalator and is mechanically operated by a pawl ratchet wheel method, thereby enhancing the reliability of preventing a reverse rotation of an escalator.
