Abstract:
An apparatus and a process for producing a hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate, in which high airtightness can be maintained even when the number of operations for discharge valve maintenance is lessened. The apparatus for hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate production comprises a reaction vessel in which a hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate is synthesized and which has a discharge valve which is opened when the contents of the reaction vessel are discharged, the discharge valve being a ball cock. The process for hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate production comprises using the apparatus for hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate production to produce a hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate.
