Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for providing a map which is mounted on a vehicle to provide map data to a plurality of electric components equipped in the vehicle. The apparatus for providing a map comprises: a communication unit for communicating with the electric components and receiving different maps from each of a plurality of servers; and a processor for selecting at least one of the servers based on driving information of the vehicle, and controlling the communication unit so that a map received from the selected server is provided to the electric components as the map data.
