Abstract:

An apparatus management system (1) for managing a plurality of apparatuses (21) via a network (15) using a managing device (10) assists an apparatus registration operation for registering an apparatus (21) in the managing device (10). An apparatus registration operation assistance device (2) comprises an electromagnetic wave transmitter (26) disposed in or in proximity to each of the plurality of apparatuses (21), and a mobile terminal (40) carried by an operator. The mobile terminal (40) comprises: a receiver (41) for receiving electromagnetic waves; a display unit (42) which displays information about an apparatus having the transmitter that has transmitted the electromagnetic waves incorporated therein or disposed in proximity thereto; and an input unit (43) to which registration information for registering the apparatus displayed on the display unit in the apparatus management system is inputted. The display unit (42) may not display, or may modify, the display of the information about the apparatus of which the registration information has been input to the input unit.
