Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for separating components from a printed circuit board, and a method for screening copper and, more particularly, to an apparatus for separating components from a printed circuit board, and a method for screening copper, capable of easily separating components from a printed circuit board having a plurality of components mounted thereon and easily screening copper contained in the printed circuit board from which the components are separated. The apparatus comprises: a first feeder for inserting thereinto a printed circuit board having components mounted thereon; a second feeder having a screw shape for allowing the printed circuit board, which is inserted into the first feeder and then discharged, to be transferred in one direction with the rotation of a driving shaft, the second feeder being disposed on the driving shaft of a driving unit which is arranged in the lower part of the first feeder; a component separation unit which receives the printed circuit board transferred by the second feeder and separates the components mounted on the printed circuit board, the component separation unit being arranged along the longitudinal direction of the driving shaft on which the second feeder is disposed; and a heating unit which applies heat to the printed circuit board introduced into the component separation unit, the heating unit being arranged along the longitudinal direction of the component separation unit while being spaced apart from the component separation unit, wherein the printed circuit board, from which the components are separated by the component separation unit, and a discharge path of the components separated from the printed circuit board may be formed separately.
