Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for separating unburned carbon powder using a rotator generating static electricity. The apparatus comprises: a collector for collecting, through a filter, unburned carbon powder which is fed back and discharging the powder; a discharge unit for mixing the unburned carbon powder collected in the collector with coal ash discharged from a storage unit and discharging the mixture through a valve; a supply unit which is installed at the lower side of the discharge unit and evenly discharges coal ash through a rotary valve; a cylindrical separating unit which separates the coal ash supplied from the supply unit through frictional electrification. The outer shape of the separating unit is cylindrical and plural rotary cylinders are installed inside the separating unit. Since the present invention injects coal ash between plural rotary cylinders and separates unburned carbon powder through frictional electrification, an occurrence frequency of abrasion caused by contact with coal ash is substantially reduced. Thus, the replacement frequency of equipment can be reduced and therefore productivity of equipment is substantially improved.
