Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for supplying an electrolytically treated liquid and a method for supplying an electrolytically treated liquid. The present invention is an apparatus for supplying an electrolytically treated liquid, said apparatus being provided with: a seawater electrolysis unit for subjecting seawater to electrolysis; a seawater supply channel for supplying seawater to the seawater electrolysis unit; an electrolytically treated liquid supply channel for supplying the electrolytically treated seawater obtained in the seawater electrolysis unit to a condenser tube; and a phytoplankton removal unit which is provided in the seawater supply channel and in which phytoplankton is removed. The present invention is also a method for supplying an electrolytically treated liquid that comprises supplying an electrolytically treated sweater to a condenser tube which is provided in a cooling apparatus in a power plant and through which divalent-iron-ion-containing seawater flows, said method including: a step for removing phytoplankton contained in seawater; a step for subjecting the resulting seawater, from which phytoplankton has been removed, to electrolysis, and thus forming electrolytically treated seawater; and a step for supplying the electrolytically treated seawater to the condenser tube.
