Abstract:
There is provided an apparatus and system for controlling power saving. The apparatus for controlling power saving includes: a switch unit having one end connected to a power supply device and the other end connected to an external device, and shorting or opening the one end and the other end according to a control signal; a sensing unit detecting whether or not an external object is exerting pressure thereupon, generating a contact signal by using a power signal from one end of the switch unit when a contact of an external object is detected, and generating a non-contact signal by using a power signal of the other end of the switch unit when the contact is not detected; and a latch unit generating a control signal for shorting the switch unit when the contact signal is received from the sensing unit and maintaining the control signal shorting the switch unit.
