Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for testing and evaluating a security patch for a distribution automation system and a method thereof. An apparatus for testing and evaluating a security patch for a distribution automation system according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a test bed unit for performing test running according to a pre-configured test operation scenario, before and after installation of the security patch for the distribution automation system; an evaluation index data collection unit for collecting evaluation index data according to the test running performed by the test bed unit; and a security patch evaluation unit for evaluating the stability of the security patch through mutual comparison between the evaluation index data.
