Abstract:
The invention relates to an apparatus for utilizing kinetic energy of a flowing medium, having support disks (2) that are mounted about a rotational axis (6) and are axially spaced apart from each other, having pressure surfaces (3) which are arranged between said disks and which are pivotally mounted about a pivot axis (4) at the support disks (2) and supported on stops (5) delimiting the pivoting movement, wherein the pressure surface (3) is designed as a hollow section. Within the pressure surface (3), a reinforcement element (33) is arranged spaced apart from the pivot axis (4) and extends between the face surfaces of the pressure surface (3). The stops (5) are designed as protrusions arranged on the support disks (2).
