Description:
APPARATUS FOR WATERING TREE ROOTS Technological Field:

The present invention relates to apparatus for irrigation of tree roots which can be used in the fruit industry in the agricultural sector. Known State of the Technology:

In addition to the limited water resources available today, it is expected that the climate changes (changes in climate factors such as temperature, precipitation, relative humidity and wind), which are expected to emerge as a result of global warming, will have a negative impact on these resources. On the other hand, even if the amount of land used in agricultural production is the same, it will be necessary to obtain higher efficiency than the unit water since the available water resources will decrease. In addition to this, due to factors such as rapid population growth, increasing demand for water resources and decreasing water quality, planned and efficient utilization of water resources has become extremely important. Therefore, the irrigation of the produced plants with a certain irrigation program is important not only for the plant but also for the sustainability of our soil and water resources.

The purpose of the irrigation program; is enough to apply irrigation water, at the right time. Irrigation programs to be formed for orchards vary depending on the area where they are grown, the age of the tree, yield and the soil structure. In order to make irrigation program, firstly the water needs of the fruits should be determined and then the irrigation time should be determined. The main objective of the irrigation programs is to ensure that the amount of moisture in the soil is irrigated without going to the critical humidity level for fruit trees. In today's arid lands and hot climates, in all kinds of deforestation and horticulture, it is not possible to prevent the evaporation of irrigation water in trees of all ages from fresh saplings to adult trees. Therefore, the frequency of irrigation increases and water saving is not achieved. In the present case, it is not possible to prevent the animals and insects such as deer, sheep, goat and vermin from contacting and damaging the body of the tree, which can gnaw the tree trunk or cause damage.

In today's irrigation systems (irrigation, drip irrigation, sprinkler irrigation, etc.), irrigation water falls to the soil surface, and then the water falling to the surface reaches to the effective root depth after a long time. The first 25% (20-35 cm) of the remaining water between the effective root depth and the soil surface is 40%. This water can not benefit enough. For this reason, thanks to the invention, the water that is close to the soil surface, which the plant cannot benefit from, reduces directly to a less effective root depth.

In the patent application TR201106860“Hydroponic irrigation system for perennial trees and shrub plantations” 68 is described. Hydroponic irrigation system for perennial trees and shrub plantations; where the plant is watered and fed by drip irrigation, which is flexible or hard (depending on the ground properties), waterproof and dark colored, ground level or partially buried, near the tree body and with a drip irrigation device where all water and nutrients are dripped. It is characterized by a container for searching for nutrients, allowing the roots to enter from a special shaped cavity completely protected from sunlight. The system can be applied to existing plantations by preventing the growth of weeds with minimal adaptation time, by offering the full use of irrigation water and thus reducing the impact on the environment by saving water, nutrients and pesticides and preventing contamination of water resources.

In the patent application no.TR201609274 is described a humid soil apparatus having a trunk irrigation pipe orifice and a tree trunk slot; if necessary, the assembly consists of two symmetrically shaped bodies, a fertilizer chamber positioned on said body, the fertilizer pore, which allows the water-mixed fertilizer to flow into the body in a controlled manner, and the support foot receptacle for contacting and securing the moist soil apparatus to the floor.

In the above-mentioned patent applications, efficient tree feeding and irrigation systems are described. The systems in the applications described do not provide adequate irrigation at effective root depth. In addition, these products are costly.

As a result, there is a need for a new technology that can overcome the above mentioned disadvantages, increase the rate of water in the practical, effective root part, get more efficiency with less water, prevent evaporation and grazing on the soil surface, prevent water erosion and cost low.

Definition of the Invention: The present invention is an apparatus for irradiating tree roots which can overcome the above-mentioned disadvantages. It is a new technology which prevents the water erosion and prevents the grazing on the soil surface to yield more production.

The first 25% of the irrigation water (40% part) of the plant root area, which is close to the soil surface, provides direct transmission to the plant root depth using the invention product. In this way, 40% less irrigation water is used. Reducing the amount of water accumulated near the soil surface to the effective root depth and dissipation by means of perforated pipes in the shape and soil of the invention. With the product of the present invention, it is possible to save 40% of the total irrigation water by reducing the plant irrigation water directly to the root zone. This advantage is achieved by the shape of the invention and the water leakage pipes on the effective root depth within the soil. By the introduction of irrigation water into the soil with the product of the present invention, evaporation grazing and water erosion on the soil surface are prevented. The product according to the invention allows the irrigation water to reach the effective root zone. The product of the present invention increases the density of the irrigation water in the effective root zone. The product of the present invention provides more efficiency by using less water. The properties and design of the product of the present invention prevent the soil surface from evaporation and evaporation. Water erosion is also prevented. Description of Drawings:

K. Root Description of the Invention:

The invention is positioned on the mouth of the water inlet pipe (2), which is positioned in the upper opening of the water inlet pipe (2), the water inlet pipe (2), which is positioned in the earth, so that the half of the water inlet pipe (2) is positioned in the ground. It consists of irrigation arms (1) (Figure-3, Figure-4).

The product of the present invention has irrigation arms (1) comprising the watering holes (1.1). The product of the present invention consists of the water inlet pipe (2) comprising the water directional barrier (2.1) (Figure-4). The product according to the invention has the water inlet pipe (2) and the irrigation arms (1) which provide the water at the first 25% depth to the effective root (K) depth (Figure- 1, Figure-2). The product according to the invention has irrigation arms 1, each of which can receive at least 7.85 liters of water. The product according to the invention has a water inlet pipe (2) which can hold at least 3.92 liters of water (Figure-3, Figure-4).

Detailed Description of the Invention:

The components of the invention are basically; the irrigation arms (1), the water inlet pipe (2) and the perforated cover (3) (Figure-3, Figure-4).

In the product according to the invention, the water inlet pipe (2) forms the body. There is a perforated cover (3) in the inlet of the water inlet pipe (2). There is irrigation arms (1) divided into different directions at the bottom of the water inlet pipe (2) (Figure-3, Figure-4). The water inlet pipe (2) comprises the water directional barrier (2.1) which allows water to be separated into the irrigation arms (1). The irrigation arms (1) comprise the watering holes (1.1) that allow the water to reach the effective root depth (Figure-3, Figure-4). According to the invention, 25-35 cm of the depth of the plant root (K) from the depth of the plant root (K) is 20-35 cm from the tree trunk the distance (from the tree trunk) is placed (Figure- 1, Figure-2). When watering is done, water enters the water inlet pipe (2) through the perforated cover (3) (Figure-3, Figure-4). Water entering the water inlet pipe (2) reaches the irrigation arms (1) by hitting the water directional barriers (2.1) (Figure-3, Figure-4). The water reaching the irrigation arms (1) reaches the roots (K) at the root depth effective from the watering holes (1.1) (Figure-l, Figure-2).
